Stock Scan Reports come with several Technical Events (or Paremeters) and Securities (or Companies). They also come with Factory Default Settings that define the Technical Events that would open up with each of these Reports. The number of such Technical Events is usually less than the universal number of Technical Events available for the Report. Furthermore, these Technical Events and Securities settings in the Reports can be customized and saved by the end-user to suit his trading and investing needs.
The following Technical Events are available for Stock Scan Reports:
- Open, High, Low, Close, Change and Volume data of the previous trading day.
- Open, High, Low, Close, Change and Volume data of the previous trading week.
- 5-day, 10-day, 21-day, 50-day and 200-day Moving Averages.
- 52-week High and 52-week Low.
- Probable 3-day resistance and support.
- Probable 5-day resistance and support.
- Probable 10-day resistance and support.
- Expected Trading Range (High/Low/Close) for the next trading day.
- Expected Trading Range (ETR) for the next week.
- Expected Ceiling (above ETR) for the next week.
- Expected Floor (below ETR) for the next week.
Add / Delete Technical Events or Parameters
Choose the Add/Delete command from the Options menu to display or remove any technical event or parameter in the Stock Scan Reports. For example, if you want to display or remove a 21-day Moving Average, choose Add/Delete from Options menu and further choose Columns. After checking/unchecking the 21-day Moving Average choose Close.
The Add/Delete command is also available by right-clicking the mouse anywhere on the Stock Scan Reports and by choosing Add/Delete Columns.
If you click on a Technical Event or Parameter name in the Add/Delete Dialog, a description of the Technical Event or Parameter is displayed in the Description box.
At the time of adding/deleting, you can decide on whether you would like to Save these new settings. To Save settings, tick the checkbox provided in the Add/Delete dialog.
